We are seeking a highly skilled Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team in delivering high-quality services to adults and young people experiencing alcohol and drug harms, family violence, mental health challenges, and social disadvantage.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing case management to a caseload of up to 15 residents, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate referrals, and taking on primary responsibility for a caseload of clients.

The role involves developing treatment and intervention plans, providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, and facilitating group interventions focused on various treatment modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, case management, and development of client-centred treatment plans with clients with complex needs.
  • Provide advocacy, referrals support, and therapeutic interventions to residents accessing residential rehabilitation services.
  • Maintain comprehensive client documentation and case notes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Youth Work, Mental Health, or other similar health-discipline.
  • Certificate IV in AOD or 4 AOD core competencies, or willingness to complete studies during employment within the first 6 months.
  • Minimum of two years' experience working within the alcohol and drug sector, mental health, or other primary health care environment.
