Senior Stormwater Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Senior Stormwater Engineer to contribute to the design and management of stormwater infrastructure in our region.

This role involves working closely with the Asset Design team to create sustainable and resilient communities through effective stormwater management strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage stormwater infrastructure projects
  • Contribute to the development of strategic documents and policies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide technical expertise and support
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • At least 5 years' experience in stormwater engineering with a focus on water-sensitive urban design
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Desirable:
  • Engineers Australia Chartered Professional Engineering (CPEng) qualification
  • Experience with GIS packages and design software
