Strategic Urban Planner Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our urban planning and design efforts, focusing on strategic urban development and international city projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in urban planning, strategic planning, master planning, smart cities, and policy preparation. The role involves working on urban policy projects, including international city development programs.

You will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, contributing to various projects locally and internationally, and driving growth in our urban planning and design business.

  • Leading the Urban Planning team from our Sydney office, focusing on strategic urban planning, urban design, and international city development in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Collaborating with senior planners to manage and deliver high-quality technical services for Ramboll projects in Sydney, NSW, and the Asia Pacific region.

Your career advancement opportunities include:

  • At least 5+ years of postgraduate experience as a senior-level planner.
  • Preferably, consulting experience in an international firm.
  • Preferably, international project experience, such as in Southeast Asia.
  • Experience with statutory planning, environmental assessments, master planning, strategic planning, and smart cities.
  • Ability to work across various sectors, locations, and client markets.
  • Leadership skills and meticulous project management.
  • Strong client relationship skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
