The Installation Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing installation projects from start to finish. They lead the installation team, coordinating on-site labour crews and guiding them through construction and deconstruction tasks.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Ensuring top-notch quality of installations to meet client expectations.
  2. Effective installation and breakdown of exhibition stands and elements such as frames, screens, and technology mounts.
  3. General construction of exhibition projects, both on-site and in the factory/warehouse.

Additionally, they will:

Manage Personnel:

  • Provide expert training to new installation crew employees.
  • Conduct ongoing safety training for all crew members.
  • Maintain high employee motivation and satisfaction levels.

Support Operations:

  • Offer support to Operations with relevant duties.
  • Notify Operations of any installation or crew-related issues.

Collaborate with Stakeholders:

  • Liaise with clients and operational departments, ensuring adherence to safe working practices at all times.
  • Review design concepts and provide feedback on construction and potential issues prior to client review.

Enhance Productivity and Efficiency:

  • Guarantee quality installation, operation, and service of products.
  • Develop innovative solutions to problems.
  • Review production drawings, identify mistakes, and rectify them promptly.

They must also:

Manage Inventory:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and store items in designated areas.
  • Ensure adequate stock levels in the warehouse and report shortages to Operations.

Lastly, they will handle Administrative Duties, including time tracking, budget monitoring, and checklists.
