
Operational Customer Experience Manager

This is a pivotal leadership position within the Customer Focus Team, responsible for overseeing operational customer service functions to deliver efficient and transparent service interactions that enhance customer experiences and drive ongoing reputation and customer satisfaction improvements.
About the Position- Manage escalated customer issues and complaints across the organisation to resolution.
- Oversee customer service and reception functions.
- Ensure resourcing and processing capacity to meet fluctuations in customer demand.
- Drive continuous improvement opportunities including digital solutions which increase customer self-service, improve management of high volume, low value requests/transactions and overall improve customer experiences when interacting with customers.
- Candidates should have a customer-first mindset, passionate about delivering great experiences and outcomes for customers and championing the customer voice in decision making.
- Strong leadership skills are required, including empathy and authenticity in building trusted relationships, leading with care and fostering a positive, accountable team culture.
- Advanced communication and influencing skills are necessary, engaging effectively across all levels, translating complex issues simply and respectfully, always with the best customer outcome in mind.
- A solutions-focused approach, proactive problem-solving and driving continuous improvement and innovation using data and customer insights are also essential.
- Resilience, adaptability and results-driven attitude are must-haves, with the ability to remain calm under pressure, embrace change and take ownership for delivering outcomes.
