Patient Liaison Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Liaison Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to patients, clinicians, and health funds.
Your primary duties will include:
- Providing high-quality reception and switchboard support as required;
- Processing patient admissions and discharge information in accordance with procedures;
- Receiving payments from patients and resolving queries regarding their coverage;
- Contacting health funds to discuss and clarify a patient's level of cover;
- Maintaining regular communication with the Health Information and Inpatient Administration Manager;
- Addressing patient queries regarding their level of cover and out-of-pocket expenses;
- Ensuring the maintenance of accurate and current information within patient administration systems.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to hospital staff, patients, families, and medical personnel.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience with hospital patient administration systems and be available to work shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM, Monday to Sunday.
