Job Role

The role of a finance analyst is to support the budgeting and forecasting processes for various departments. This involves analyzing business metrics, reviewing business cases, and providing decision support to stakeholders.

The finance analyst will also be responsible for delivering insights through reporting and analysis, helping stakeholders meet financial targets and drive performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Deliver insights through management reporting and decision support
  • Analyze business metrics and review business cases
  • Provide written commentary and insights via reports
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with finance partners and business stakeholders
Requirements
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (mandatory)
  • 2+ years' experience in financial services, ideally with insurance exposure
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in management reporting and decision support
  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX) and familiarity with TM1, Oracle, and Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills with a track record of reporting to senior leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timeframes
