The Role: Practice Manager

This is a Full Time role in Deception Bay, supporting close-knit teams and doctors who pride themselves on exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will manage and support our employees and Health Care Professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the medical centre, ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and service delivery.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues while driving continuous improvement.
  • Monitor clinic safety, compliance, and adherence to SOPs and accreditation standards.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of staff.
  • Oversee rosters, budgets, and inventory to support efficient clinic operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a patient-focused culture.
  • Facilitate team meetings, performance reviews, and staff development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Regional and National Managers and key internal stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Proven Leadership and Management experience ideally in the healthcare industry.
  • Qualification in Business Administration or Diploma of Practice Management preferred.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • A passion for people and a personable approach.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using clinical software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and needs.
  • Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
