Project Coordination Role

The role of Assistant Project Manager plays a pivotal part in supporting the execution of projects. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project management tasks, ensuring effective management of safety, scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.

This opportunity allows for the development and application of project management skills in an environment with limited complexity. You will gain exposure to end-to-end project delivery while applying your skills and knowledge to drive successful outcomes.

Key responsibilities include planning, reporting, stakeholder management, and client-facing activities. As you progress in your career, you will have the opportunity to build your capability in line with our Global Project Management Framework.

We are seeking an individual with a sound understanding of project management principles and the ability to apply these principles in practical scenarios. A proactive and detail-focused approach is essential, as well as confidence in supporting financial and schedule estimates, monitoring progress, managing risks, and documenting key project aspects.

A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills, you will thrive in a team environment and be comfortable engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Most importantly, you share our commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement in delivering outcomes that matter.

Some key requirements for this role include:

  • Relevant Project Management qualification
  • AIPM Certified Practitioner working towards Certification in Project Management
  • Full project lifecycle experience from bid phase through to close out
  • Application of core project management techniques
  • Ideal recent and relevant experience in a similar environment / business sector
  • Ideal awareness of various contracting methodologies
