Project Manager Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled project manager to lead stakeholder engagement activities for the Battlespace Communications System (BCS) program.

  • Develop and execute stakeholder communication and engagement strategies and plans.
  • Facilitate culture and behavior workshops to enhance collaboration and understanding among stakeholders.
  • Identify, analyze and engage with internal and external commonwealth and defence industry stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support project objectives.
  • Collaborate with the BCS program team to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.

The successful candidate will have experience in stakeholder management, project management principles and techniques, including risk management and project planning.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and execute stakeholder communication and engagement strategies and plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Culture and Behavior Workshops: Facilitate culture and behavior workshops to enhance collaboration and understanding among stakeholders, promoting a positive working relationship.
  3. Stakeholder Identification and Analysis: Identify, analyze and engage with internal and external commonwealth and defence industry stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and addressed.
  4. Relationship Development: Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support project objectives, fostering strong working relationships built on trust and respect.
  5. Collaboration: Collaborate with the BCS program team to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives, driving project success through effective teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Experience in stakeholder management and project management principles and techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on maintaining project timelines and deliverables.
  • Excellent communication abilities with the ability to drive collaboration across teams.
