We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our sales organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our efforts with defined groups of mining and civil customers across Western Australia.
This key role acts as the primary customer contact, owning the customer relationship and providing a conduit between other invested business disciplines and customer operating sites and corporate business teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Assume responsibility for leading defined groups of customers
- Act as primary customer contact and own customer relationships
- Provide a conduit between Epiroc's other invested business disciplines and customers' operating sites and corporate business teams
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience of the industry, identifying specific application understanding and working through multiple facets of customers' requirements to offer viable solutions
- Promote Epiroc's solutions and capabilities to internal and external stakeholders
- A listener first and a sales professional second
- A resilient, self-motivated solutions finder
- Highly developed communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Understanding of balancing customer advocacy with favourable commercial outcomes
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to find common ground with people approaching projects from differing perspectives
- Ability to make decisions within set parameters and deliver information to various levels
- Background in and understanding of business development, account management or general sales
- Technical aptitude not required but a solid understanding of technical considerations is important
- Willingness to undertake extensive travel
- Exposure to mining and related industries well-regarded
