Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Construction/General Manager to lead our operations in Bendigo. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for the overall performance of our regional office, including project management, team leadership, and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Construction Administrators and Site Managers to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement business strategies to grow our presence in the Bendigo region
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and sub-contractors
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth and revenue

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in commercial construction, with a strong background in project management and team leadership
  • Formal tertiary or trade qualifications in a relevant field
  • Strong networks within the Bendigo region and a pool of reliable sub-contractors
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $170,000 - $220,000 + super, depending on experience
  • Potential profit sharing/bonus options available in the future
