About the Role
This role involves working with vulnerable members of our community, including those experiencing disadvantage and marginalization. As a lawyer, you will be responsible for providing legal assistance and support to help them navigate the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice and representation to clients in accordance with our policies and guidelines.
- Working closely with other teams to provide comprehensive support services to our clients.
- Contributing to the development of policies and procedures to improve the delivery of our services.
- Engaging with the community to raise awareness about our services and promote access to justice.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent qualification.
- Admission as a legal practitioner in NSW.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of the criminal justice system and the needs of our clients.
