We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Midwife to fill a unique position as a Pregnancy Choices Navigator in Mount Isa, North West Queensland. This role offers an exceptional chance to contribute significantly to the development of pathways for improved health outcomes for our communities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Pregnancy Choices Service, effectively managing human, material, and financial resources, and ensuring adherence to best practice standards for clinical practice and patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the Pregnancy Choices Service to achieve optimal results.
- Manage resources efficiently to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain best practice standards for clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Essential qualifications include a relevant tertiary degree and current registration as a Registered Midwife.
- A C Class Motor Vehicle Licence is mandatory.
- Candidates must undergo pre-employment screening, including a criminal history check.
- This role involves working in a VPD risk environment; candidates may be required to provide evidence of vaccination or immunity against certain diseases.
