Pregnancy Care Specialist

The Maternity service is seeking a skilled Registered Midwife to join our team in a permanent full-time position.
This role will involve delivering safe and compassionate clinical care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and engaging in reflective practice through effective assessment and evaluation of patient-centered care.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration as a Registered Midwife, and have a C Class Motor Vehicle Licence. A period of probation may apply.
The lifestyle is family-friendly, with a vibrant outback community feel. The Traditional Owners of the area are the Kalkadoon people. You will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
Benefits Package- A base salary ranging between AUD $82,753 and $106,144 per annum (Midwife Grade 5)
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- Long Service Leave and Sick Leave accrual; tax savings through salary sacrificing options available
- In addition: 2 return airfares per year to the nearest east coast provincial city (plus recreation leave) with 5 weeks annual leave and 17.5% loading/bonus
- 2 weeks annual leave, travel as required, and enrolment/conference costs for approved courses and conferences
- Staff accommodation (if eligible) or private rental subsidy of AUD $82.50 per week for up to 17 months
