Expert Neurosurgery Position

This is a fixed-term position with a focus on delivering high-quality surgical and clinical services in the Department of Neurosurgery at Westmead Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with spinal surgery waitlists, ensuring efficient management of patient flow and optimal treatment outcomes.
- Possess current registration with the Medical Board of Australia and hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) or equivalent qualifications.
- Hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
- Demonstrate expertise in neurosurgery, with a strong understanding of clinical practice and governance principles.
- FRACS (Neurosurgery) or completion of neurosurgery training with demonstrated proficiency.
- Proven experience in spinal surgery, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong time management and resource allocation skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to good governance, risk management, and achieving results through effective leadership and collaboration.
