Job Title: Servicing Government Agencies

The role of the VIP Support Analyst is a key component in delivering high-level ICT services to the Department. As a member of the IT Service Desk team, you will interact with stakeholders at all levels of Government, primarily servicing the Departments Executive Group, Ministerial Offices, and their support staff across multiple sites.

This position requires strong communication skills as you will be navigating priorities and pressures from VIP stakeholders, communicating technical information to non-technical audiences, and developing/maintaining a sound understanding of a Windows environment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Navigating administrative duties with ease
  • Participation in ongoing learning opportunities
  • Supporting the transfer of knowledge through document writing and in-person training
  • Stakeholder and relationship management at various levels of Government
  • Delivery and close out of work packages while working independently
  • Effective communication and prioritization for VIP stakeholders
  • Managing service requests via the department's tool

This is an ongoing/non-ongoing (specified term) position requiring interstate travel and the ability to work on call and afterhours to support business-critical project work.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience working in an ICT support environment with Microsoft Products
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders with limited technical expertise
  • Minimum 18 months experience working within an ICT Support environment
