Minor Capital Works Specialist

This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of minor capital works projects, each with its own stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing minor works contracts and possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Project planning and contract management
- Sourcing quotes from contractors and procurement process management
- Managing project work plans and resources
- Reporting on performance against project schedules and milestones
- Expenditure management against budgets
The successful candidate will ideally have a relevant tertiary qualification and well-developed relationships with a range of stakeholders. This is a busy role that requires the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing project deliverables and building effective relationships with stakeholders
- Sourcing quotes from contractors and managing the procurement process
- Managing project work plans and resources
- Reporting on performance against project schedules, performance indicators and milestones
- Managing expenditure against budgets
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Substantial experience in managing minor works contracts
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
