Job Overview

Mechanical supervisors are required to lead a team of E&I or SMP tradespeople, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly manage and lead a team of E&I or SMP tradespeople to execute project tasks efficiently.
  • Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all SMP activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
  • Monitor and inspect E&I and SMP installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Efficiently utilise resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Foster effective communication within the SMP team and collaborate with other superintendents and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to E&I and SMP activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of E&I and SMP activities, including daily reports, and any required project documentation.

About You:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in SMP supervision.
  • Proficient knowledge of structural, mechanical, piping systems, and electrical.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with WA mining safety regulations.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing teams.
  • A valid White Card.
