Job Opportunity for Dedicated Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Psychologist to work in home care settings on a part-time basis, providing psychological assessments, therapy, and support tailored to the unique needs of clients.

About the Role:
  • Conduct comprehensive Psychological Assessments and develop individualised care plans to meet the complex needs of clients.
  • Provide evidence-based Talking Therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Counselling, to support clients' mental health and wellbeing.
  • Deliver Crisis Intervention and ongoing mental health support in clients' homes, ensuring seamless care coordination with healthcare professionals and carers.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records to ensure quality care delivery and inform future treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote holistic care and improve client outcomes.
Requirements:
  • A Registered Psychologist with current registration and good standing with AHPRA.
  • Experience working in community or home care settings, with a strong understanding of mental health issues affecting older adults and individuals with chronic conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a patient-centred approach to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Ability to work independently, with flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients and the care team.
