
Psychologist – Home Care

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Psychologist to join our home care team on a part-time basis, working 2–3 days per week. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments, therapy, and support tailored to the unique needs of clients in their home environments. This role requires a flexible approach and excellent communication skills to work effectively with clients, families, and the broader care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop tailored care plans.
- Provide evidence-based therapy, including CBT and counselling.
- Deliver crisis intervention and ongoing mental health support in clients' homes.
- Collaborate with carers, health professionals, and families.
- Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records.
- Participate in team meetings and quality improvement.
- Promote mental health education among clients and their support networks.
About You:
- Registered Psychologist (AHPRA).
- Experience in community or home care preferred.
- Knowledge of mental health issues in older adults and chronic conditions.
- Strong communication skills and sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
