About the Role

As our ideal candidate, you will be a seasoned professional with a strong background in electrical engineering and asset management. With over 10 years of experience in regulatory submissions, you will lead the development and implementation of asset management strategies ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

This role requires a high level of technical expertise, project management skills, and effective stakeholder engagement. You will be responsible for managing price reset processes, overseeing capital and maintenance programs, and driving process improvements. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers to ensure consistent quality assurance across networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and govern price reset processes, including EDPR, TRR, and GAAR.
  • Ensure compliance with asset management rules and regulations, and address any impacts on the business.
  • Oversee the delivery of capital and maintenance programs within budget and time constraints.
  • Develop and implement solutions for complex technical issues.
  • Drive process improvements and update strategic documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and respond to stakeholder queries.
  • Ensure consistent quality assurance across networks and mentor junior engineers.

What We're Looking For

  • Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 10+ years in electrical engineering and asset management, with a strong background in regulatory submissions.
  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of technical and economic regulations governing electrical networks.
  • Project Management: Proven skills in project management and stakeholder management.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and drive results.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of effective stakeholder engagement.
