Job Description:

We are seeking a diligent and tech-savvy individual to join our Post-enumeration Survey Team. As a representative, you will be responsible for physically verifying the accuracy of addresses in an area, confirming the existence of new buildings, removing demolished ones, and noting down non-private residences.

The role involves investigation skills to locate hidden homes or part of business premises, as well as interacting with people at addresses to confirm changes. If you enjoy exercising and want to be paid for it, this could be the perfect opportunity.

In addition to driving, you may also need to walk long distances, so having a sense of adventure and being able to navigate through the beautiful countryside is essential.

The Role:

As a member of the Post-enumeration Survey Team, you will be working closely with the interviewing team to ensure the success of the survey results. Your task will involve visually checking addresses to confirm their presence on our list.

Accuracy and attention to detail are crucial in this role, and you must be comfortable using technology to record information. The data collected will contribute to the government's funding plans for various projects, including hospitals, roads, public transport, schools, and housing in Aotearoa.

We are looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, a passion for serving the community, and digital literacy. You should be self-motivated, have good time-management skills, and be keen to develop new skills. Knowledge of local areas, communities, and businesses is also desirable.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you must have a valid driver's license, a vehicle with a WOF and registration (excluding Auckland CBD), and third-party insurance. You should also possess a good level of physical fitness, allowing you to walk long distances while carrying a backpack.

Additionally, you must have the right to live and work in Aotearoa New Zealand.
