Job Description:

An opportunity exists for an experienced professional to play a key role on high-profile, complex advisory and corporate insolvency matters as well as insolvency-related litigation.

This role will see you manage a mix of high-calibre cutting-edge matters, hands-on case management, and strategic input alongside senior partners. You will also have the opportunity to train and mentor junior lawyers.

About the Team:

Our Restructuring and Insolvency team is renowned for its top-tier expertise. We work with secured and unsecured creditors, liquidators, voluntary administrators, and receivers throughout Australia and overseas on corporate workouts, reconstructions, and corporate insolvency.

We are free from banking panel restrictions and our expertise is sought after in high-profile insolvency administrations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • You deliver legal advice with a commercial and client-focused outlook always;
  • You work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and excel working in a collaborative environment;
  • You have strong communication and stakeholder management skills and aren't afraid to use them, internally and externally;
  • You take a proactive, positive, and energetic approach to everything you do;
  • You are comfortable and experienced mentoring and training junior lawyers; and
  • You will have 7+ years' experience in Restructuring & Insolvency within a private practice environment.
