Job Overview

  • We are seeking a Senior Retail Leader to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, including sales, inventory management, and staff supervision.

About the Role:

  • The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in retail or a related industry, with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
  • This role requires strong leadership skills, commercial acumen, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Leverage sales leadership to drive business growth on the selling floor.
    • Motivate the sales team to meet sales and productivity goals.
    • Develop in-store events and incentives to grow the customer base.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Ensure proper inventory mix matches market needs.
    • Review merchandise assortment and optimize stock levels and mix.
  • Staff Supervision:
    • Hire, evaluate, train, position, and discipline staff members.
    • Manage commission and incentives for the sales team.
    • Cultivate individual development of staff and communicate suggestions and needs.
  • Administrative Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of store operation, including billing and reports.
    • Implement security measures and utilize Retail Pro functions effectively.
  • Communication and Reporting:
    • Inform the Retail Manager of business decisions and procedures.
    • Adhere to business, merchandise, marketing, and HR strategies.
  • Visual Merchandising:
    • Evaluate in-store and window visual merchandising.
    • Collaborate with the Retail Manager and Regional VM on new installations and product launches.

About You:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in retail/luxury industry.
  • 2 years of managerial experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong commercial and customer service mindset.
  • Outgoing, dependable, and proactive team player.
