Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Chandler Macleod. This is a 12-month contract opportunity, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.

This position will involve attending office training sessions in the Sydney CBD for up to 3 months, followed by a hybrid work arrangement where you can work from home two days a week.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to ensure that accounts receivable, accounting, and reporting requirements for SBES are completed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the AR inbox, including receipting payments and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Oversee invoicing activities across the SBES business.
  • Ensure the successful collection of outstanding debts.
  • Liaise with Project Managers to resolve disputes or enquiries.
About You

You will have experience working in a similar role with high attention to detail, effective time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience within an AR function.
  • A sound understanding of collections working within a medium to large business.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Excel and SAP.
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite is highly desirable but not essential.
  • The ability to be proactive in problem-solving regarding system and process issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player qualities, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and expand your skills.

As an Advanced Accounts Receivable Specialist at Chandler Macleod, you can expect a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on your experience.
