Strategic Intelligence and Research Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join our unit as a highly experienced, efficient, and motivated professional.

We are seeking a skilled analyst to provide a strategic analytical function for the Commission through the provision of high-quality assessments, targeted development briefs, and intelligence products.

  • To position the Commission to mitigate emerging threats, risks, and trends that may affect the operating environment of the NSW public sector.
  • To allow for effective planning and resource allocation of assets in the pursuit of Commission's Investigations and Corruption Prevention objectives.

You will collect and analyse open and authorised source information and evidence to produce strategic intelligence products and advice to support proactive investigation of suspected corrupt conduct.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A degree or higher-level qualification in an intelligence related discipline from a recognised tertiary education institution.
  • Significant experience as a strategic and operational intelligence analyst in an operational law enforcement, investigative, or intelligence organisation.
  • Well-developed planning and organisational abilities, problem solving and analytical skills, be able to write well and communicate effectively.

Benefits

This role offers a total remuneration package valued up to $133,314 pa, including employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.

Security Vetting and Health Requirements

The successful applicant will need to undergo security vetting and adhere to the Commission's health requirements.
