Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $110,000-$140,000 AUD, depending on your experience and qualifications.

Job Description

  • This role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders from various divisions, including Business, Finance, Technology, and Risk.
  • You will be responsible for facilitating change within Westpac's liquidity model, providing business SME for technical and non-technical changes, and acting as a conduit between policy advisers and technical implementors.
  • You will also support engagements with Model Risk, periodic reviews, and material changes to the model, as well as support all users of the Liquidity Model (TDM) with technical and non-technical queries.
  • Furthermore, you will advise Product Owners on technical liquidity considerations presented to Treasury via the Front Door, and support our Treasury Technology Team by providing business requirements for items of change.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in liquidity risk management and/or Group Treasury.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively and efficiently.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to extract micro issues and translate into big-picture impacts for senior management.
  • Negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes with stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to write and present reports to senior management and committees.
  • Technical skills comprising SQL, considered advantageous.
