Job Opportunity

Novita is seeking a proactive and collaborative professional to join our People team, based at our office. This full-time position plays a key role in supporting managers and staff across the organisation, providing expert advice and practical assistance across a broad range of HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice and support to managers on day-to-day Human Resources issues.
  • Partner with leaders to manage underperformance and misconduct, including investigations and improvement plans.
  • Guide managers on employment laws, awards, agreements, and company policies and procedures.
  • Assist managers in conducting employee investigations, ensuring fairness and due process.
  • Collaborate on incident management and facilitate the return-to-work processes.
  • Support the growth of Human Resources team members through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Foster cooperation and understanding across business units.
  • Contribute to a positive, continuously improving, and safe work environment.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Experience as an HR generalist, with a solid understanding of HR practices and legislation.
  • Experience interpreting awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and cooperatively.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professional standards, and a proactive approach.

The role is classified at the ASO 5 level under the Enterprise Agreement 2024.
