Supporting Mental Health Recovery
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Practitioner to join our team in providing high-quality mental health supports to individuals with moderate to severe mental health concerns.
About the Role:
- Deliver trauma-informed, recovery-oriented biopsychosocial assessments to guests attending the centre.
- Provide clinical and non-clinical support to assist individuals in achieving their identified recovery goals.
- Work closely with Peer Service Guides to deliver services during extended hours.
- Provide direct support to guests in acute distress, including suicidal ideation.
- Engage in recovery-oriented, person-driven goal planning and regular review of shared support plans.
- Deliver outreach services across Brisbane Inner North and West suburbs.
About You:
- Tertiary qualification in Social Work or Allied Health and relevant registration.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in supporting participants through comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and developing recovery plans.
- Experience and knowledge around strength-based, trauma-informed support and recovery-oriented frameworks.
Essential Requirements:
- NDIS Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- National Criminal Record check - disclosable outcomes considered.
- Current Open Qld Driver's License.
