We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team at Oakleigh, Vic. As a Dental Assistant with us, you will have the opportunity to work on a full-time basis and be part of a new practice where you can see the practice grow with your contribution.

The role involves developing and maintaining positive relationships by providing excellent customer service to our patients. You will also prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment, provide quality chairside assistance to our Dentists, and maintain infection control standards and procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience working at a local Australian practice, a Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for dentistry/patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships by providing excellent customer service to our patients
  • Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
  • Provide quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
  • Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures
  • Patient care from entry to the surgery, recall management

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working at a local Australian practice
  • Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting highly regarded
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for dentistry/patient care
  • Organised with attention to detail
  • A proven track record of punctuality and reliability
  • Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
