About the role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dental practice in Docklands, VIC 3008 as a part-time Dental Assistant and Dental Receptionist. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, friendly and well-established dental clinic while developing your skills in the dental industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting dentists during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilising instruments, and passing instruments as required
  • Greeting and welcoming patients, managing appointment scheduling, and handling patient enquiries
  • Performing basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management
  • Ensuring the dental practice maintains high standards of cleanliness and infection control
  • Providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience for all patients

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar patient-facing role, preferably in a dental practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with patients of all ages
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and data entry
  • A warm, friendly, and professional demeanour
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient care
