Producer Role in Korean Media

A media organisation producing trusted content for all Australians is seeking a producer to join its Korean language program. The role involves creating linguistically diverse public broadcasting in 63 languages across live radio and digital platforms.

The ideal candidate will contribute to fostering audience engagement on-air and online, requiring a sound understanding of the Korean-speaking community in Australia and its cultural sensitivities.

This part-time position (15 hours per week) is located in either Sydney or Melbourne studios.

  • Research, write, produce, translate and present audio content (including news, current affairs and community stories) on radio and/or online platforms.
  • Proficiency in speaking and typing in Korean as well as English is essential.
  • Participation in a language assessment task is required as part of the interview process.
  • Demonstrated professional experience using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram would be an advantage.
