Procurement Manager

This role involves overseeing the procurement function and driving value for our organisation.

About the Role
  • Deliver strategic sourcing initiatives to enhance cost savings.
  • Develop long-term supplier relationships that meet business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our supply chain management practices.

We seek a seasoned Procurement Manager who can develop and implement category management strategies to best achieve our organisational goals.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design and execute procurement plans that align with business objectives.
  • Prepare and conduct RFIs, RFPs, ITTs to procure 'value for money' solutions as required by our operations.
  • Achieve cost savings across multiple procurement categories, assigned by the GM of Procurement.
  • Plan, develop and negotiate the commercial aspects of contracts to deliver required business outcomes and savings.
  • Consult with stakeholders to determine business needs and determine the appropriate contracting framework.
  • Manage files for preferred suppliers, ensuring effective communication to the greater business.
  • Assist in developing contract management plans, processes and frameworks to manage commercial risks and monitor supplier performance.
  • Monitor group performance against relevant organisational targets related to sustainability.
  • Conduct vendor due diligence and provide advice regarding vendor risk management.

This role would be suitable for a Category Manager looking to advance their career.

Requirements
  • 3 years' experience in a Procurement, Finance or Operational environment.
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or equivalent desirable, though not essential.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Purchase Plus or relevant P2P systems.
  • Stakeholder Management Skills.
  • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end procurement cycles.
  • Excellent communication, organisation/time management.
  • Category experience in F&B, Hospitality and Property services beneficial.
