Operations Management Role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to support the Asset Management Team in Western Australia. As part of the Business Units leadership team, you will play a key role in driving business development and growth.

The ideal candidate will have 15+ years' experience in operations with a technical Asset Management background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in customer relationship management and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Update and refine the business development strategy and achievable growth vision.
  • Work directly with customers day-to-day, driving project deliverables and identifying new projects.
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure needs and expectations are fully satisfied.
  • Take a key role in reviewing, implementing and improving asset management systems and processes.
  • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships within the Asset Management community.
  • Engage in and support business development opportunities.
  • Provide leadership, management, mentoring and development of the asset management team.
  • Ensure the Asset Management Team generates innovative, fit for purpose and cost-effective solutions for our clients.
  • Technical review and mentoring.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years' experience in operations with a technical Asset Management background.
  • 5+ years in operations in maintenance engineering, reliability or related discipline.
  • Extensive understanding and experience in ISO55000, RCM, RCA and Planned Maintenance Optimisation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer relationship management and business development experience.
  • Experience and energy in sales and/or proposal development.
  • Experience and understanding of delivering effective client solutions as well as the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to present to clients.
