Job Description

The Asset Management Lead is responsible for providing strategic asset management guidance, leadership and advice to implement, maintain and improve Austal's asset management system.


This role will work closely across departments and programs to build asset management competency and capability. The successful candidate will have expert knowledge of ISO 55001 standards and a proven ability to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.



Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in asset management, maintenance management or engineering
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as asset management, maintenance management or engineering
  • CAAM Accreditation (highly desirable)
  • Solid understanding of the shipbuilding value chain (desirable)
  • Membership of the Asset Management Council, Engineers Australia or Similar recognised body
