About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will drive business impact and help shape the future of our cities and communities. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Performance Optimization and cross-functional leaders to drive material, sustainable performance enhancements across Transurban.

This role is ideal for a dynamic, forward-thinking leader with highly developed influencing skills and comfort working directly with senior and executive-level stakeholders. You will take ownership of strategic and transformational projects to increase financial performance, build social license, reduce risk, and implement other improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects to drive business impact and improve performance
  • Apply your management consulting toolkit to solve complex business problems and develop robust business cases
  • Author and present compelling executive communications and conduct thorough analyses to identify improvement opportunities
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders and maintain a pipeline of optimization opportunities
  • Foster a high-performing team culture by encouraging continuous learning and adherence to Transurban's Code of Conduct

Requirements

  • Recent experience in a top-tier strategy firm or boutique consultancy, or in a similar corporate environment
  • A proven track record managing and implementing transformation programs in complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong financial literacy and commercial acumen, with the ability to quickly build credibility and trust with stakeholders
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Economics, Commerce, Business Management, or Law
  • Experience working in heavy industry such as transport, utilities, or resources is highly regarded
