Job Opportunity: Insolvency Intermediate or Senior

Dayornightcare is seeking a highly skilled Insolvency Intermediate or Senior to join our team in Sydney CBD.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar insolvency firm and possess a strong understanding of insolvency legislations, including realising businesses/assets, dealing with correspondence and creditor enquiries, and conducting staff training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and complete assignments for manager and partner review, acting as the firm's point of contact for less complex assignments.
  • Assist managers and partners in performing special assignments and other corporate work as required.
  • Work with senior accountants and managers to identify engagement risks and determine the appropriate strategy for each assignment.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of skills and knowledge in accounting and professional accounting standards for conducting financial investigations and preparing reports.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of insolvency legislations, including realising businesses/assets, dealing with correspondence and creditor enquiries, and conducting staff training.
  • Ability to work with senior accountants and managers to identify engagement risks and determine the appropriate strategy for each assignment.
  • High standard of skills and knowledge in accounting and professional accounting standards for conducting financial investigations and preparing reports.
