ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction, renovation, and remediation projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSECQ) standards.
  • Implement effective budget management and operational efficiency throughout the project.
  • Coordinate both in-house labor and subcontracted services.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and facilitate weekly team meetings.
  • Offer expert guidance on technical and engineering challenges.
  • Maintain close communication with clients to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Participate in the tendering and estimation processes.
  • Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) and monitor their responses.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and completing multiple construction, renovation, and remediation projects.
  • Experience working with tier 2 clients.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of fostering and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
  • Ability to manage personal workload while ensuring project efficiency and a collaborative team atmosphere.
  • Strong problem-solving skills complemented by an approachable leadership style.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • A natural leader committed to developing team members and achieving project goals.
