In an exciting period of growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Swimming Program Manager to join our team at Yawa Aquatic Centre on the Mornington Peninsula.

The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and operating our swim school programs, providing direction to Pool Deck Supervisors and Swim Teachers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs to our members and patrons.

This is a full-time opportunity that requires strong people leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for swimming and customer service.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $63,000 - $85,000, depending on experience.

About the Role

Job Description

The Swimming Program Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing and operating our swim school programs, including developing and implementing program plans and schedules;
  • Providing direction and guidance to Pool Deck Supervisors and Swim Teachers to ensure high-quality program delivery;
  • Collaborating with the Centre Manager and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency;
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers to promote our services and products;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including attendance, revenue, and customer feedback.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record in swimming program management or a related field;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate teams;
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions;
  • A passion for swimming and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia, with a valid driver's license and willingness to undergo a background check if requested.
