Job Role Overview

The Aquatic Services Manager is a dynamic leadership role that involves overseeing the management and operation of the swim school and associated services and programs at Yawa Aquatic Centre.

This position will lead and guide the Pool Deck Supervisors and Swim Teachers to ensure the delivery of swim school programs to the highest possible standards.

As a key member of the Belgravia Leisure team, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating staff to achieve excellent customer service and outcomes.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and a passion for aquatic programs and the leisure industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the swim school and associated services and programs.
  • Lead and guide the Pool Deck Supervisors and Swim Teachers to ensure the delivery of swim school programs to the highest possible standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other Belgravia Leisure teams to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • National Police Check
  • Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent)
  • Current AUSTSWIM Certificate - Teaching of water swimming and water safety
  • Previous Swim School Coordinator Experience
