Job Title: Commercial Finance Specialist

The role of a Commercial Finance Specialist is to play a key part in the management and optimization of risk, credit underwriting, and operational processes for the commercial finance business unit.

  • Carry out financial analysis and modeling tasks to support business decisions.
  • Support clients with ongoing financing needs, including temporary and seasonal overlines, changes to limits.
  • Work with vendors on existing programs and assist with new vendor onboarding.
  • Prepare thorough credit submissions with well-supported recommendations and present to senior credit authorities.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team on deal origination and structuring.
  • Make transactions within delegated authority levels and in line with the company's risk appetite.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the financial industry and in credit and risk management roles.
  • Knowledge of credit, business management, risk management, and risk policy.
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proven team player with a strong performance track record in matrix organizations.
