As a Payment Technical Sales Manager at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, you will partner with our Enterprise Merchant management teams to design and deliver innovative payment solutions. Your key responsibility will be to enhance our market share across our suite of merchant payment acceptance and acquiring solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with front-line teams to build and drive solution-focused sales opportunities
  • Drive day-to-day pipeline management, operational excellence, and execution
  • Develop industry expertise in payments and e-commerce
  • Build strong, active cross-functional relationships across Large Enterprise Sales and support teams
  • Become a CommBank product evangelist, leading value-based conversations with partners
  • Establish credibility as a 'thought-leader' representing CommBank in merchant engagements
  • Identify and lead transformational shifts in our customers
  • Lead e-commerce solution selling, engaging at C-level to support front-line teams' opportunity discovery and acceleration
  • Drive cross-team collaboration across internal and external customers

What We're Looking For:

  • Risk Mindset - All CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss, and act on current and future risks
  • Possess business acumen expertise and industry knowledge to connect customer business issues to their payment environments
  • Deep understanding of the Australian Payments landscape, both merchant acquiring and payment gateways
  • Experience with solution-based sales, preferably in payments or SAAS, dealing with large, complex customer problems
  • Track record of exceeding individual quotas/targets
  • Successful management of large-scale, complex customer engagements with large matrixed organisations
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to manage diverse stakeholders
  • Passionate about technology, with a hunger to continually learn and grow
  • Excellent Communicator, with C-Suite communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience within payments or E-commerce environment/fintech background advantageous
