Job Description: Queensland is at a pivotal moment in its history, poised to embrace an exciting future. As the Head of Investment, you will spearhead the overall investment strategy, guiding decision-making and negotiations for private sector project proposals that drive economic growth in Queensland.

This role resides within the treasury department, reporting directly to the Deputy Under Treasurer - Industry, Investment and Commercial. Your influence will be felt across Strategy and Project Management, Investment Attraction, Investment Facilitation, and Investment Partnerships.

You will advise senior officials on key initiatives, guide the delivery of numerous high-value programs, and foster a culture of innovation, initiative, and decision-making.

As a leader, you will have the opportunity to design new programs, propel emerging industries forward, and engage with stakeholders to drive inward investment.

You will excel in managing and motivating large, high-performing teams, navigating complex political environments, and making informed decisions across multiple industries.
