Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Financial Operations Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing financial support and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have experience in finance or bookkeeping, with a high level of integrity and attention to detail. They will be responsible for managing travel and accommodation arrangements, supporting payroll operations, and performing financial checks and reconciliations.

Additionally, they will collaborate with other team members and services to support the program's financial integrity and assist with reporting and compliance as required by funding bodies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Booking and managing travel and accommodation for clients
  • Supporting payroll operations, including acting as backup for payroll processing
  • Supporting accounts payable and receivable
  • Performing financial checks, reconciliations, and peer reviews
  • Assisting with reporting and compliance as required

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have experience in finance or bookkeeping, with a strong attention to detail and ability to operate reliably. While formal qualifications are not essential, your ability to learn new systems and work effectively in a trauma-informed environment is crucial.
