About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care. As an Emergency Response Operator, you will work closely with a strong and collaborative team to provide support to over 47,000 seniors, people living with disability, and lone workers in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to medical emergencies and contact clients for welfare checks
  • Dispatch emergency services and maintain client records
  • Ensure the functionality of MePACS alarms and emergency pendants
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide support to clients
Requirements
  • Flexible worker with ability to work all shifts, including days, afternoons, and nights on a 24-hour rotating roster
  • Level 1 First Aid Certificate required
  • Proficient in computer systems and touch typing abilities
  • Fully vaccinated for Covid-19 and meet the requirements of the Peninsula Health immunisation policy
