This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic national property developer as an Assistant Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be tertiary educated and passionate about property.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional who can gain full exposure to all stages of development, acquisition, feasibility, design, construction, delivery, and marketing. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing business plans, including project scope, budget, and overall development strategy
  • Maintaining and updating project feasibility
  • Gaining exposure to all stages of development, from residential land team to master planning and project delivery
  • Formulating master plans, obtaining necessary approvals and conditions, and preparing design guidelines
  • Supporting project directors to ensure project delivery meets cost objectives
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders on various matters, including planning, design, engineering, legal, sales, and marketing

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in property, planning, engineering, commerce, or a related discipline
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Sound financial analysis skills
  • Effective influencing, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Sound verbal and written communication skills
