Workwear is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Designer to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-performance, functional, and commercially viable products that meet specific client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct proactive research into trends in fabrications, construction, trims, technology, and accessories to inspire innovative designs.
  • Develop commercially viable product lines that align with our requirements and customer design briefs.
  • Critically analyse and improve existing products for enhanced functionality and performance.
  • Create technical specifications to ensure accurate product development.
  • Oversee fitting appraisals to ensure optimal product fit and quality.
  • Manage adherence to critical path timelines while identifying strategies to streamline development processes.
  • Ensure product compliance through wearer trials, quality testing, and risk assessments.
  • Design cost-effective products by optimizing materials and construction methods.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a designer role
  • Experience in workwear, performance apparel, menswear, jacketing, outerwear or similar
  • Self-motivated with time management and priority achievement
  • Strong communication skills and accuracy
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
