We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of designated areas, monitoring hygiene and cleanliness, and performing metal detector and x-ray machine checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform timely and thorough pre-operational inspections of designated areas
  • Monitor the hygiene and cleanliness of operators and Personal Protective Equipment
  • Perform metal detector and x-ray machine checks and undertake required corrective action
  • Monitor and report the hygiene and sanitation procedures during processing in each area
  • Monitor air and water temperatures
  • Conduct hygiene checks including carton meat assessment and meat hygiene assessment
  • Complete the required electronic and hard copy forms daily, ensuring to record all findings, corrective actions, follow-up actions, and sign off once completed

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Flexibility to work shift rosters and weekends as required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Outlook
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards
