Species List Database Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably-qualified person to manage the species list database.

The role will include:

  • Ongoing project management for the database;
  • Managing data governance and curation of the database;
  • Working with developers, scientific experts, end-users and stakeholders to ensure the database is fit for purpose;
  • Finding and developing productive collaborations that will be beneficial to the database;
  • Developing key communication tools for promoting the database.

Applicants should possess expertise in project management, taxonomy and/or programming for biological informatics, as well as effective relationship-building skills.

This position is part of a team committed to increasing biodiversity knowledge. You will work alongside a diverse group of scientists, researchers and staff who share your passion for taxonomy and systematics.
